John Street Bakery has been trading for forty three years. We create a unique product which has sustained our business through the decades.
Only found at John Street Bakery,Our speciality-The Backstone Oven Bottom has a very distinctive taste. This muffin is no ordinary oven bottom. The Backstone has a distinctive chewy outer and a dense but soft inner.
John Street Bakery Ltd also offers a veriety of muffins including Tea Cakes, Soft Muffins and Barms.
We also produce our Crusty Loaves which are a firm favorite with our North West customers.
John Street Bakery is owned by husband and wife team Nina and Paul Rodwell. Most nights you will find Paul in the Bakery while during the day Nina runs our Retail outlet “The Pantry” in Ashton Indoor Market Hall which was owned by her late father for the past four decades.
